The building is a square-log cabin built in a Swiss Chalet style. We have two self-contained light housekeeping suites with gas BBQ's. A large deck surrounds three sides of the building offering a spectacular view of the landscaped gardens, and Lake of the Woods.

Wireless Internet is available in all rooms and suites. 

Northwoods Bed & Breakfast is open all year round for both summer and winter activities.

Children are always welcome at Northwoods. We have a large variety of musical instruments and other items of interest for children (of all ages).

Winter activities include skiing, cross country and downhill, snowshoeing, winter hiking and snowmobiling.

In the summer there are endless attractions in the Kenora area including hiking, canoeing, fishing and boat tours. Many extra attractions take place on summer long weekends including fireworks displays, antique car and boat shows and summer concerts under the tent on the harbourfront.

The Northwest Ontario skies are spectacular in any season for stargazing, birding and sunsets. Bring your camera.
