Travel Instructions - how to find usGPS Location 49 degrees 45' 25 N, 94 degrees 33' 21 W Travelling east (Winnipeg) - from the Ontario Manitoba border on highway #1 (#17 in Ontario), you will eventually reach Clearwater Bay (Pye’s Landing). At this point you are approximately 15 minutes away from Kenora. As you reach the outskirts of Kenora, you will reach a point where the highway forks to the left at the Kenora Bypass (17A). Highway 17A takes you around Kenora and on to Thunder Bay etc. Continue straight on #17 towards Kenora. After a few minutes driving you will see a sign for McDiarmid Lumber. We are straight ahead past this point on the right side of the road. You will pass a grocery store (Keewatin Place) and then Northwoods Bed and Breakfast.Travelling west (Thunder Bay) - there are two ways to get to us. If you wish to bypass Kenora, you can take highway 17A (Kenora Bypass) until you reach Veterans Drive and turn left into Kenora. Follow Veterans Drive until you get to the Pulp mill. At this point Veterans drive turns right and continues on until a railway underpass and stop lights. Turn right once you pass under the tracks and you are on Highway 17 west. Travelling west you will cross 4 bridges. After the 4th bridge the road forks at a sign for Keewatin. Stay on the highway (left fork) and watch for us on the left. We are beside the Southview Bistro. If you pass McDiarmid Lumber you have gone too far. Refer to above "Travelling East…….". If you choose not to travel the bypass, you will make a left turn into Kenora at the start of the bypass. This puts you on highway 17 east. Follow the main road through Kenora. It will eventually turn into Second Avenue South which will lead you into down town Kenora where 2nd turns onto Main St. (Right turn). Follow Main street to the end and it turns to the left and becomes Highway 17 West. Continue on over the 4 bridges as in the paragraph above. You can either park in the front of the B&B, or if you have booked the Garden Suite, there is a driveway on the east side of the building that will take you down to the suite.
